Not all of the art is quite so lively. If modernism wasn’t sufficiently evident, this month’s installation reinforced it. Fortunately, the art is in rotation at 590 Madison.
Outside, it was a warm spring day, and I walked west on 57th Street in shirtsleeves. At 9 West 57th Street, they really want to make sure that you know where you are.
Further along, is Carnegie Hall. Since I’m not a classical music afficianado, I’m not likely to go to this venue.
My day job seems to be turning largely bicoastal, so although I will get assigned to projects elsewhere across the United States, I won’t be surprised to spending more time in Los Angeles and New York City.
