		<description>When I was in Kyoto at Christmas, the castle was unfortunately closed.  However, I did make the visit when I was there in 1985 and remember the floor well.  Amazing that after so many years the mechanism still works.
Kyoto is a wonderful city where the old meets the new.  It sounds like you really made the most of the time you spend there.</description>
