2007/05/30 Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, Roosevelt Hotel, Hollywood

Since I was in the neighbourhood, I took a few minutes to be a tourist at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, in Hollywood.

The tourists all seem to follow the tradition of comparing the size of their shoes to the footprints memorialized in concrete.

Most of the evening was actually spent across the street, at dinner at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel with the consulting team.

The evening was a fun team-building event. At my end of the table, Susan and Marjori (and even Christian!) discussed experiences shopping for shoes in the Los Angeles area. We learned various histories about other members on the team, including a first career as a comedy writer, and being fired from Johnny Cash’s road crew. This is a business consulting team that really belongs with clients in Hollywood!
