Had zipper heads replaced while I watched, as my winter coat was opening up on walks during the severe cold temperature warning. Previously had brought in wife's coat to buy an exact match for a broken zipper, and was advised by the clerk that the teeth were fine, so just the zipper heads would be a cheaper and immediate fix. Children attracted to #PenzoCAO (2019) "Time Traveller" at #XintiandiDesignFestival, sitting in bamboo chairs inside red crystal-like walls. The circular part is hinged, and rotates. Installation is one of many in the courtyard of a high-end fashion mall, shoppers are complemented by foreign tour groups crowding in the restaurants to the north. Birthday celebration @Ryan_Ing fish cooking chef @dreid63 class @hookedinc. Hot smoked and cold smoked salmon, potted prawns appetizer; rockfish en papillote; pan fried crisp skin rainbow trout; roasted garlic new potato salad; carrot fennel salad; slow roasted coho salmon in mustard sauce; halibut steamed with hot oil green onions and ginger. Bonus selection of salmon sashimi varieties for guest of honour to compare subtleties. Struggled with quantity, leftovers brought home in 2 minute walk. (Hooked Inc. Alongside path, @DuaneLinklater (2017) Monsters for Beauty, Permanence and Individuality installation, 14 cast concrete gargoyles replicating those found on Toronto buildings. A little further along, found the Middle Mill plaque, marking location of paper factory for news publishers 1939-1989.
